Our Mission Statement

The mission of the Emmaus Police Department is to be a leader in providing total quality service to all of our residents as well as those who visit and work in our community. We will enforce the laws and ordinances of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the Borough of Emmaus with complete fairness and equity. We will serve the needs of our community and our customers by building partnerships, and by identifying and solving problems. We will remain sensitive to the needs of our community and will always strive to improve the quality of life for everyone. We will maintain and fulfill our mission with a continued emphasis on improving our professional image in the eyes of the public through accountability, commitment, and integrity.

Our Vision

Our vision is to enhance our status as a professional law enforcement agency through a consistent commitment to excellence. We are committed to the philosophy of problem solving, community policing, teamwork, and cultivating partnerships within our community. We value our unity and the differences of others by recognizing the strength of individual attitudes and beliefs. We view ourselves as a team of empowered professionals capable of responding to changes in the law enforcement profession and responding to new challenges in the Borough of Emmaus.
